He said this when he inaugurated the Taraba chapter of the association in Jalingo. He said that the idea was to assist individual farmers to overcome the challenge of inadequate access to funding from financial institutions. Mr Achike Emejulu, the AIRS Executive Chairman, made the disclosure in an interview with newsmen on Monday in Awka. He said that the agency sealed most of the bank’s branches in the state after obtaining writ of execution from the Court because of non remittance of Pay As You Earn tax. Emejulu said that the N2 billion tax accumulated from 2006 to 2011. The chairman said that the government would recover all debts owed it by corporate organizations in the state. He said that the agency will soon seal a beverage company in Onitsha and another commercial bank for their inability to pay their taxes.
