MOPPAN rolls out 6-point agenda

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J *Partners NFC in developing film production in Nigeria  THE Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria, MOPPAN, the professional motion picture production body operating within the 19 northern states of the federation has endorsed the current initiatives, programmes and projects of the Nigerian Film Corporation,NFC, that impact positively on the growth of the Nigerian film industry. The body has also promised to partner the NFC, in lobbying for the Nigerian Film Commission bill which is before the National Assembly. These positions were expressed by the newly elected executive members of  MOPPAN during a visit to the NFC headquarters in Jos, the Plateau State capital. Jonathan, Wike, others bag Rivers golden jubilee honours

http://ift.tt/2s8sNoz BY JIMITOTA ONOYUME PORT HARCOURT – FORMER President Goodluck Jonathan, governor Nyesom Wike and former governor Peter Odili were among about 127 persons honoured Saturday night by the Rivers state government at the ongoing golden jubilee anniversary celebration of the state. Governor Nyesom Wike in his address said the award was in recognition of the various contributions of the awardees to the growth and development of the state.
