http://ift.tt/2pkHcQE Pastor Lazarus Muoka Text: Matthew 16:18 “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Ephesians 5:26-27 “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.” Brethren, we all should understand that the church of God is not the physical building, or the architectural structure in which we usually go into for worship, or service. The church is you and I, and all other members of the church, including the young, the old, the rich, and the poor. And the builder of the church is not you, or me, or the other members. The builder of the church is God Himself, the Creator. Matthew 16:18. Here, the Lord established Apostle Peter as the church, and subsequently built him, and the gates of hell could...

How banks drive state IGR through technology

Image
http://ift.tt/2p7fK5H Banks in Nigeria began collaborating with governments on IGR collection in the mid-1990s through the duties and other levies collection with the Nigerian Customs Service. Nigerian, Africa’s most populous country has been experiencing economic turbulence since late 2014, when its yearly Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate dropped from 6.22 per cent to 2.79 per cent in 2015. Before plunging into recession in 2016, ending the year at about -2 per cent negative growth, the continued decline in prices of international oil has resulted in the drastic fall in federal government’s revenue in recent times.
