http://ift.tt/eA8V8J …Aims to be amongst 100 world economies by 2019 By Levinus Nwabughiogu ABUJA-Ongoing economic reforms subsumed in the recently signed executive orders and the ease of doing business packages are strategies to bring back multinational companies who have departed the country, the Federal government said Tuesday. The government is also targeting to move the country into 20 places in the first year of the implementation of the orders in the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business index to be amongst 100 countries within the next three years. Nigeria is currently ranked 169 out of 189 countries by the World Bank, according to the Bank’s 2016 Ease of Doing Business report. Youth leader commends CDS for curbing renewed militancy in Niger Delta

Gabriel Olorunisakin for curbing renewed agitation in the region that threatened oil output. He also hailed the military for the successes recorded in the North-East in degrading the capacity of the insurgents and recovery of territories once controlled by terrorists. http://ift.tt/2pDR1XT Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu About 14 years after his installation, the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, on Monday appeared in an Ikeja High Court in a suit challenging his emergence as the paramount ruler of Lagos, saying he is the bona fide monarch. “I am here to justify my appointment, you cannot build something on nothing, it will be broken. “By native law and customs and by law, I am the bona fide Oba of Lagos,” said Akiolu, who was accompanied to the court by 10 white cap chiefs. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Akiolu’s installation as the Oba of Lagos is being challenged by Prince Adedoyin Adebiyi and Prince Rasheed Modile, two members of the Lagos royal family. Joined as respondents in the suit are the state governor, the Attorney-General of Lagos State, Prince Babatunde Akitoye and Chief Junaid Eko.
