Eguavoen made the disclosure in a telephone interview with pressmen in Akure. Newsmen report that the Ondo State Football Agency had on April 25 in Akure made public the appointment of former Super Eagles’ Chief Coach, Austin Eguavoen, as Sunshine new Technical Adviser. Also, a former Eagles’ goalkeeper trainer, Ike Shorounmu, was unveiled as the goalkeeper trainer. This was as he condoled with the family, friends, and co-workers of the late professor, who died at the age of 68, noting that Nigeria had lost one of its finest health workers, who fought severely against the spread of HIV/AIDS in the country. The governor grieved in a statement that: “Professor Osotimehin was not your ordinary doctor. He was a thorough man, who did not overlook little details. Disgruntled employee kills five in Florida, takes own life

Four people were killed at the scene, while a fifth died at the hospital, Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings told reporters. Seven people survived the ordeal. The business, Fiamma, makes awnings for recreational vehicles. Demings said the incident was being treated as a “workplace violence incident” and did not appear to have any links to terror. The soldiers, who were at the end of a tour near the border with Chad in Cameroon’s Far North region, demanded two years’ worth of salaries and expenses that they said they were owed. “Soldiers from the air force…took up arms against the advice of their military hierarchy and blocked national route 1 after dismantling their posts at the frontier,” said an army source in the regional capital of Maroua. The source said soldiers returned to barracks later on Sunday after discussions took place with army generals, said the army source. It was not clear how much money the soldiers demanded. Sani Usman, said in a statement that four suspected kidnappers were also arrested at Mundu village in the state, following a tip off. “They were found to be in possession of one locally made six-loader single barrel gun, one empty cartridge, two machetes, a knife, two handsets, two packets of tramol tablets and N360,” he said.
