The legislature also partially increased the N40 billion proposed in the budget by the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, to N42 billion, which is a difference of N2 billion. In the budget, the agency itemised various projects for executions under the fiscal year, which include the rehabilitation, completion and construction of rural electrification projects across the nation. The handsome actor and Chairman, Board of Trustees, BoT, of the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria,AGN, was down with kidney disease in 2011, but God in his infinite mercies saw him through, when he underwent a successful kidney transplant in India. Since then, Ifeanyi has never had any reason to return to the hospital bed. In fact, unlike the popular music producer, OJB Jezreel who unfortunately died three years after he underwent his own kidney transplant in India, Ifeanyi Dike has been full of life and energy. The girls were freed on Saturday via negotiations and in exchange with some Boko Haram members held by the federal government. A statement by the presidential spokesman, Mallam Garba Shehu last night confirmed the release of the girls. It will be recalled that over 200 school of the girls were abducted by Boko Haram terrorist sect on April 14, 2014. Negotiations with the terrorist group last year had led to the rescue of over 20 of the girls.
