4-year-old starves to death holding mother’s dead body

http://ift.tt/2rOCPMP A four-year-old disabled schoolboy starved to death clinging to his mother’s body after he was left there with her corpse for more than two weeks. Mute and autistic Chadrack Mbala Mulo was found with his arms wrapped around the decomposed body of his mum Esther Eketi-Mulo in their northeast London flat. An inquest has heard how the heartbreaking find on October 20 came after Chadrack was unable to raise the alarm when his mum died at the start of the month after an epileptic fit. Chadrack died of malnutrition and dehydration and autism spectrum disorder on October 18, according to a report into his death. Neighbours at the Trelawney Estate in Hackney reportedly thought the stench coming from the family’s flat was from the mum’s cooking. The case has now raised questions over school procedures when children are absent. Aisha Buhari arrived the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja on Tuesday Morning with words of appreciation and request from Buhari to Nigerians. Mrs. Buhari’s spokesperson, Suleiman Haruna, in a statement said the First Lady, on arrival, conveyed the appreciation of President Buhari to Nigerians. Delegates voted overwhelmingly to retain the suspensions against both federations, which were imposed in Kuwait’s case in 2015 and Guatemala in 2016. The 211 delegate nations able to vote backed by a 99 percent majority to continue to exclude the central American nation and 96 percent for the tiny Gulf state. Guatemala was suspended from international competition after it rejected a FIFA proposal to extend a “normalisation committee” imposed because of its involvement in the corruption scandal that has rocked world football’s governing body. Charity, a graduate of Linguistics and English from the University of Maiduguri with code number, FCT/15a/5295, was shot around 3 a.m. on Monday while returning home from a nightclub, The Caribbean, in Wuse 2, Abuja. The deceased was reported to have attended a show at the club, where a hip hop artiste, Chibuzor Azubuike, popularly called Phyno, performed on Sunday, with four friends, identified as Lola, Bisi, Pooja (an Indian) and a man. Confirming the incident, the Director of Press, NYSC, Mrs Abosede Aderibigbe explained that Charity was killed by armed robber, who trailed her and her friends from the club.
