Customs N30trn probe: Senate summons Emefiele, Adeosun, banks

http://ift.tt/2pxZ7jT Emefiele and Adeosun The Senate Committee on Customs, Excise and Tariff has summoned Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele and Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun, over alleged N30 trillion import duties infractions. Also invited are the managing directors of all commercial banks, Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), the Nigerian Customs Service and Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). They are expected to appear before members of the committee on Tuesday. Chairman of the committee, Sen.
