Financial experts task CBN on forex liquidity to sustain stock rally

http://ift.tt/eA8V8J Some financial experts on Sunday called on the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to ensure continuous liquidity in the foreign exchange market to sustained the bullish trend on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). They told the Newsmen in separate interviews in Lagos that the current rally on the stock market could only be sustained with foreign exchange liquidity. Dr Uche Uwaleke, Head of Banking and Finance Department, Nasarawa State University Keffi, said that enhanced foreign exchange liquidity would sustain foreign portfolio investment confidence in the market. Uwaleke said that the bullish trend was a reflection of the fact that the economy was gradually moving out of recession and should be sustained with friendly policies. Delivering his judgment, the Judge held that the prosecution has proved the case beyond every reasonable doubt. The judge held that the prison term started counting from the day of conviction. Oluwatoba committed the crime on the 12th August, 2013 at Odo Usi Street, Awo Road, Igede-Ekiti in Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area while the convict was first arraigned in court on 27th November, 2015. Exhibits tendered to convict Oluwatoba include photographs, medical report on the sexual assault, statement of the accused at the police station, among others. Ige gave the advice in an interview on Sunday in Abuja. The expert said that sex education must be age appropriate and could commence from two years. She said that information for certain age group must be transferred appropriately as sexual abuse was becoming rampant and children from the age of two were becoming victims. Ige explained that sex education has become pertinent due to the rise of sexual abuse among children in the society. She said children were abused sexually at homes by relatives, in schools by teachers or students, and social gatherings by strangers, hence the need for children to be abreast with safety rules.
