Rivers govt to engage 22,000 repentant cultists

Commissioner for Information and Communications, Dr. Austin Tam-George, disclosed this in Port Harcourt while briefing newsmen on the achievements of the administration of Governor Nyesom Wike in the last two years. Tam-George said: “We had, last year, granted amnesty to over 22, 000 youths and we are still working out elaborate vocation and entrepreneural support for them. There is a commitment to empower 22,000 people, who are mainly the repentant cultists who surrendered their arms. They will be trained in different entrepreneurial skills.
