Biafra my way is a struggle for freedom; a rejection of internal colonialism after independence from British colonialism. I refuse to be a second class citizen in my own country. I reject any notion that I am inferior to anyone in a country governed by a constitution that says we are all equal. On the equality of all Nigerians irrespective of their circumstances of birth, religion, tribe, region and political belief I stand. Anything to the contrary I not only reject but I fight. He also revealed that government had removed  over 250 blind roadside beggars from different parts of the country to Bauchi State for training on skills acquisition. Speaking in an interview in Abuja yesterday, he said government decided to train the blind beggars  in different skills so that they would be able to take care of themselves instead of begging on the streets. Runsewe said already the NCAC had proposed to host a national summit on the role of traditional rulers in promoting economic growth and national development. PHOTO: LASG As part of activities to mark 50 years of the existence of Lagos State, the Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has launched a free public Wi-Fi Internet service initiative. Starting with the Ndubuisi Kanu Park, Alausa, Ikeja, Ambode informed that virtually all the parks in Lagos would have the free Wi-Fi Internet access facility. Wi-Fi is a facility that allows computers, smart phones and other devices to connect to the Internet or communicate with one another without cable connection within a particular area. Ambode unveiled the facility, a partnership with MainOne Cables yesterday.Represented by the Commissioner for Science and Technology, Olufemi Odubiyi, the governor said the provision of free public Wi-Fi at the park was part of efforts by his administration to make Lagos a smart city.
